ISABEL
LEONI
singer. songwriter. actress.
Hi! Welcome to my world.
I was born and raised in sunny San Jose, CA. I discovered my love for music and theater through a LOT of karaoke and Ariana Grande covers. I’m currently a senior at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee with plans to move to the big apple in the fall of 2025. During my time in college, I found a thirst for creating and pursued my emphasis in songwriting. Stay tuned for my first single coming soon on all streaming platforms!
In these past four years, I participated in the LINK program, both in 2022 and 2024. I made my professional debut at Stages st Louis as Nina in In The Heights, fulfilling a lifelong dream role of mine. I also got to the top 40 in Season 5 of American Idol, although my episode unfortunately wasn’t aired. Still love you, Lionel Richie!
A large part of who I am comes from my Venezuelan roots and growing up in a Spanish speaking household. I make some darn good arepas. If i’m not eating, you can probably find me at the gym! I absolutely love personal fitness and weightlifting is a huge passion of mine.
Everyday I am grateful to pursue a career that fulfills me artistically, spiritually, and emotionally. My personal mission as an artist is to make the world a better place through human connection. Simple as that. For two summers, I worked at the Evergreen Adult Development Center, teaching music and dance to folks with disabilities. Accessibility in our art form is extremely important to me. I hope we connect soon!
Thanks for being a part of my journey.
Isabel

Meet Isabel!
“The four principal actors Ryan Alvarado (Usnavi), Amanda Robles (Vanessa), Isabel Leoni (Nina), and Jahir Lawrence Hipps (Benny) deliver inspired emotional performances that engender smiles, laughs and tears. Each actor's musical motif has a unique sound that was composed specifically for each character. Alvarado's delivery of Lin-Manuel Miranda's rapid fire hip-hop lyrics is superb.”
“Leoni, in her professional acting debut, provides exquisite powerhouse vocals that ascend beyond the roof of the theatre. St. Louis audiences are fortunate to see this young actor perform this early in her career. She delivers a performance that exceeds the ability of seasoned veterans and is the best among a cast who all deliver remarkable performances.”
